Yaltah by Norman Perryman_1 Yaltah by Norman Perryman_2

The above oil-paintings of Yaltah were made by Norman Perryman in 1971 and 1972. Norman describes them as "typical of my work in those far-off days .... floating between impressionism and expressionism. The first painting is introvert, Yaltah suffering under the illness of her husband, Joel; the second one freer, vainly attempting to reflect the eccentric spirituality and joyful energy of this amazing woman."

The painting on the left was sold in Switzerland; the other was bought by the Yaltah Menuhin Memorial Fund.
